The Department of Physics at Technion seeks to educate the next generation of scientists and to equip them with skills to explore and to better understand the physical world. Our department is at the forefront of contemporary research in a wide range of fields in physics, including high energy physics, condensed matter physics, astrophysics, biophysics, nonlinear optics,  plasma physics, general relativity and mathematical physics. In addition, the Physics Department operates a number of centers for interdisciplinary research, that facilitate interactions with other departments at the Technion, and create an Institute-wide atmosphere of cooperation. The Physics Department Honors Program:

The goal of the program is to allow extraordinary undergraduate students to take part in cutting edge research and scientific activities in the Department of Physics at the Technion.
The program is intended for a limited number of students with scientific curiosity and exceptional intellectual abilities.
