The Physics Department Honors Program:
The goal of the program is to allow extraordinary undergraduate students to take part in cutting edge research and scientific activities in the Department of Physics at the Technion. The program is intended for a limited number of students with scientific curiosity and exceptional intellectual abilities.
Main features
- Participation in research, from early stages of the studies.
- Personal mentorship by scientists in the department.
- Course work tailored to personal interests.
- Unique academic enrichment activities and exposure to current research.
- Fellowship covering the full tuition and a stipend for living expenses.
- Automatic acceptance to the Technion Graduate Program in Physics (M.Sc. or direct Ph.D.) after successfully graduating from the program.
Application
- Applicants should have a Technion entry score of at least 92. Exceptions in extraordinary cases will be considered.
- Applicants will register to study physics at the Technion (either before or when they register to the program).
- Candidates will send a CV and a letter explaining why they match the program and why they want to take part in it. Candidates may include recommendation letters.
- Suitable candidates will be invited for an interview.
