The purpose of the workshop is to discuss some of the fundamental open  problems on active galaxies. In particular,  black hole evolution, Outflows and feedback, Understanding the central source (black hole mass and spin and accretion disks), AGN hosts and environment, black holes in the early universe, and Low luminosity Active Galactic Nucleis.
