Agreement between
the Institute of Physics and the Israel Physical Society

To enhance scientific relations and improve communications between physicists Israel and in the UK and Irland, the Institute of Physics (IoP) and the Israel Physical Society agree to extend the benefits of membership of their societies as follows:

Members of the Israel Physical Society normally resident in Country may:
  1. attend IoP conferences at IoP members rates;
  2. have access to the IoP's London headquarters during normal office hours, including access to the Members' Center and facilities available within them;
  3. subscribe to the IoP's monthly physics magazine Physics World at a substantially reduced fee (the annual fee in 2004 is 57 US Dollars);
  4. purchase books published by Institute of Physics Publishing at reduced rates (20% discount in 2004);


Members of the Institute of Physics normally resident in the UK or Irland may attend the Israel Physical Society meetings at the Israel Physical Society member rate.

This agreement shall come into immediate effect on signature by both the President of the Institute of Physics and the President of Israel Physical Society and shall remain in force until either the Institute of Physics or the Israel Physical Society gives 12 months written notice of termination or of a wish to renegotiate the agreement.
