Please view our reproduction of the abstract according to the instructions below. The abstract book is now at the printers.
If you submitted an abstract in time and despite this it is missing in the abstract book, please email us at ips2000@physics.technion.ac.il to clarify the situation and ensure that we allocate a place in the program for you.
Unless you appear in the program of the oral talks you have been assigned a poster presentation. Instructions for poster presentations are HERE ). The posters will be grouped by subjects, and weather permitting we have arranged for lunch to be eaten in the middle of the poster area, to facilitate viewing and discussions near the posters. A second viewing time will be during the afternoon coffeebreak. The business meeting will be held in the afternoon so that everyone can view the posters carefully during the rest of the day. For a small number of selected poster presentations we will open our computer classroom for interactive presentations during the poster session. We apologise to all the authors of excellent abstracts who requested but were not selected for oral presentations, but time and space constrain us all.
Speakers with oral presentations (who can find their time and session allocation in the PROGRAM ) will have overhead projectors and black or whiteboards only, with the exception of some sessions held in the physics building, where computer or video projection may be possible. (Enquiries about projection should be forwarded to phr76ja@phjoan.technion.ac.il directly.)
VIEWING ABSTRACTS: To determine where your abstract has been assigned, please download the abstract book (in postscript format) and view with ghostview or another postscript viewer. (We do not recommend printing..it is 150 pages!). You find your abstract by searching for your name in the index at the end and then going to the correct page to view it. A copy of the book may be viewed in the hbar cafe at the Technion, and we suggest that other institutions provide this service in a convenient place if they wish.
