Registration
will take place on May 11th from 9:15 am. There is no registration
fee for the meeting, BUT all participants are encouraged
to be members
of the Israel Physical Society. The Bulletin of the IPS (book of abstracts)
will be given
to members who have paid the annual dues. Other membership advantages include:
The membership fee can be paid during registration but
it is recommended to pay in advance by downloading the
membership
form and sending it with your cheque to
the treasurer of the IPS,

not later than 1/4/2000.
Retired members pay 50% of the
regular fee. IPS is a corporate member of the European Physical
Society. Every member of IPS is automatically a member of EPS. An
IPS member is entitled to participate in the EPS organized conferences
and symposia and to subscribe to the EPS journals at the low EPS
rates. IPS members are also entitled to participate in EPS committees.
IPS has signed agreements about
reciprocal
member privileges with the American
Physical Society and Canadian
Association of Physicists.
IPS is negotiating with the Japan Physical
Society about signing an agreement on reciprocal
member privileges.
