INSTRUCTIONS for POSTER PRESENTATIONS

Posters should be no larger than gilyon (70 by 100 cm) size. The poster stands will be in place at least 24 hours in advance and we encourage local people to place posters 24 hours ahead. Some posters will go on easel type stands (requires tape or thumb tacks), a few in special poster frames. All are limited to gilyon size. Posters not hung in advance should be hung during the morning registration period when technical support will be available if needed.

Posters will be arranged by topic with a discussion area for those topics with more than a few posters. Posters relevant to oral sessions will be announced in the oral sessions. You may wish to place a note on the poster saying when you will be standing there to help people find you. If your requested a poster or if we were unable to honour your request for an oral talk, and therefore accepted your contribution as a poster, you may be interested in the possibility of making computer presentations during the poster session. We encourage this. If you wish to do this please place a note on your poster announcing when this will occur in either the lunch break, late afternoon or on the half day where your topic is not in a parallel session if suitable. You may also ask your session chair to announce this. All topics have only a single session so there should be plenty of time for such presentations.
