This directory includes 18 files "**.asc" which contain the merged 
HST spectra for the 18 quasars analyzed by: 

Laor et al. 1994, ApJ 420, 11
Laor et al. 1995, ApJS 99, 1

It also includes the software used for the data reduction:
Gausfit.f   <===   Gaussian fitting
tempfit.f   <===   Template fitting
composite.f <===   Generating a composite (using slope averaging)

The file "manual" explains in detail how to run the first two codes.
