   Yury Bliokh received his M. Sc. and Ph.D. in physics and mathematics from Kharkov State University, Ukraine, in 1970 and 1977, respectively. He received the D. Sc. degree in physics and mathematics from the Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology, Ukraine, in 1987.
   From 1970 to 2000, he was with the Kharkov Institute of Physics and Technology, Ukraine. Since 2000 he has been with the Plasma and Microwaves Group at the Department of Physics, Technion, Haifa. Fields of interest: plasma electronics and stochastic processes in plasma-beam systems.
