Arkady Saypin received his M. Sc. in physics and mathematics from Tomsk State
University, Russia, in 1972 and his Ph. D. from Tomsk Polytechnic Institute, Russia, in 1981. From 1972 to 1992, he was with the Nuclear Research Institute, Tomsk, as a Senior Scientist. From 1992
to 2001 he did research on microwave thermal treatment. Since 2001 he has been with the Plasma & Pulsed Power Group at the Department of Physics, Technion, Haifa. Fields of interest: high-power
electron beam generation and active plasma cathodes. |
